20TH MEETING OF COMESA MINISTERS OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS ON PEACE AND SECURITY AT KICC, NAIROBI

The 20th Meeting of COMESA Ministers of Foreign Affairs is scheduled to be held on October 8, 2025, at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC) in Nairobi, Kenya.

 This meeting will focus on reviewing the peace and security situation in the COMESA region and discuss ways to promote peace, democracy, and dialogue for conflict resolution.

The three day summit  precedes the 24th COMESA Summit of Heads of State and Government, which will take place on October 9, 2025, at the same venue.

 Kenya’s President William Ruto is expected to take over as Chairperson of the COMESA Authority during this summit period
