American YouTuber iShowSpeed, known as Speed, declared Kenya the top stop on his “Speed Does Africa” tour after achieving unprecedented subscriber growth during a Nairobi livestream.
The YouTube star made the revelation on Sunday, January 11, while leaving Nairobi National Park, where he had been streaming live to hundreds of thousands of viewers
Speaking during the broadcast, Speed told his audience that no other country he had visited on the tour had generated as many new subscribers in one stream as Kenya.
“We are about to hit 47.9 subscribers in this stream. I don’t think you understand how crazy that is. No other country so far in this whole tour has been able to gain this amount of subs in this one stream. Kenya is so far number one,” he said.
